Mad Dog McGillicuddy and his Rabid Band of Howler Monkeys

I had originally called this one "The Blob", but for obvious reasons, I changed it to something (only slightly) more original. I think it's funny that The Goo's motivation (if a gelatinous inverterbrate organism can in fact be motivated) for consuming and replicating the band is to promote its own "minimalist, arty" brand of music. The Goo is using the Howler Monkeys' fame and popularity to piggy-back itself to musical stardom...just like K-Fed.
